The production is a brilliant comedy about the film industry, with its egomaniac stars, monstrous film moguls, fickle fans, classic ‘golden-era’ moves and slapstick humour.

Singin’ in the Rain has a superb cast of 27 members, our own Bethany Dickson emanates from Cape Town, stars as the aspiring actress Kathy Selden, opposite Grant Almirall who makes his debut as the charming Don Lockwood. Other cast members include Steven van Wyk as Cosmo Brown, Taryn-Lee Hudson as Lina Lamont, James Borthwick as RF Simpson, Mark Richardson as Roscoe Dexter and Anne Power as Dora.

This famed production first enthralled audiences when it had its debut in the UK . It is currently playing sell-out houses in Hong Kong after captivating audiences in New Zealand, the Philippines and Singapore, and of course, South Africa is next on the map.
This wonderful production is filled with romance, charm, comedy, glamour and delightful tap dancing sequences with songs from the splendid MGM score. The first three rows known as the splash zone may have you thinking to bring along your rain suit as magical scenes of rains live on stage is one of the big highlights of the show, most of the water is drained back into holding tanks, filtered through sand and UV light, and recycled for the next performance. Performances are Tuesdays to Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 2:30pm and 7:30pm and Sundays at 1:30pm and 6:30pm. There is one 5:00pm show on Sunday 13 December.
